A vibrant reinterpretation of two Spanish classical grape varieties.
Made from a Tempranillo - Shiraz blend, the grapes for this wine were grown on 30+ yr old vines in the La Mancha region of Spain. The region experiences extreme continental weather with long hot Summers.
The grapes were hand-harvested in September. With maceration at 5ºC over 48hrs, and then fermented at 24-26ºC over 12-15 days. The wine was then partially aged in 100% French oak.
