B&G Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (France)

B&G Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (France)

  • Blackberry
  • Spice
  • Vanilla
  • Velvety tannins

A deep garnet red with purple highlights in the glass. The bouquet has excellent fruit intensity, combining ripe black fruits of blackcurrant and blackberry alongside flattering toasty, spicy notes. The wine is round and smooth on the palate, with velvety tannins and a long fruity aftertaste balanced by vanilla and liquorice.

Sourced from the Languedoc Roussillon region situated along the Mediterranean sea in different terroirs that add complexity and richness to the wine. A selection of the vines are located in the coolest areas of the Languedoc region near Limoux, which experience a wide temperature range between cool nights and warm days. Whilst grapes were also sourced from the Gard region where the weather is warmer.

In the winery grapes were de-stalked and crushed before being fermented in stainless steel vats. Micro oxygenation took place before malolactic fermentation to enhance the colour and to supple the tannins.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with grilled red meat, pasta, spicy dishes and cheese.
