Bodega Tamari Mendoza Malbec 2018 (Argentina)

Bodega Tamari Mendoza Malbec 2018 (Argentina)

"This is bold and brooding with dark berry, roasted nut, tar and warm spice notes on the nose, followed by a beautifully weighted palate that’s succulent and fruit expressive. Well structured by grainy tannins, making it a lovely food partner" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2019

Red intense purplish brilliant colour. Aroma of fresh flowery notes, ripe red fruits like plums, cherries and chocolate assembled with spicy notes and the subtle moka. The entry is sweet, middle palate, firm structure and fruity finish. Aging in oak barrels adds complexity, and notes of hazelnuts, almonds and cinnamon.

Tamarí means “Do things with passion”Tamari wines are a true reflection of the passionate life style and culture of the Argentinian people. Most of the vines planted are in the Uco Valley. A premium wine growing area in Mendoza, around 1000 - 1600 metres above sea level, producing sought after wines.

Food Pairing: Ideal with mushroom risotto, paella, roast rabbit grilled red meats, lamb, ostrich, wild boar, duck, pork and strong cheeses.
