Central Central Otago Pinot Noir 2019

Central Central Otago Pinot Noir 2019

  • Ripe cherry
  • Baking spice
  • Succulent
  • Lacy acidity

"Sweetly fruited and attractively complex, showing ripe cherry, dried herb, game and toasted nut aromas on the nose, followed by a succulent palate offering smooth mouthfeel and silky texture. It's beautifully rounded and lingering with an elegant savoury finish" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2021

"Deep ruby-black with good transparency, faintly lighter edged. The nose is softly full, aromas of black cherries, blackcurrants and black tea leaves, interweave baking spices and a hint of thyme. Medium-full bodied, aromas of blackcurrants, cherries intermix black tea fragrance, unfolding nutmeg, cinnamon and dark herbs linger on the finish. The wine has a lovely structure supported by lacy acidity and a light fine-grained tannin grip. Black tea fragrance extended the fruit, added interest. Match with smoked duck and wild boar over the next 5 years" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, May 2021
