The new vintage from our friends at Clos Miran is a beauty & absolutely smashes it out of the park for quality and value. Rich, warming and seductively smooth. This wine is as close as you could hope to come to an authentic Châteauneuf style without paying the premium. Finest Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from neighbouring vineyards combine beautifully to give herb scented, velvety black fruit, liquorice and spice.
The Clos des Miran vineyard, certified organic since 2014, is located in Pont-Saint-Esprit in the Gard department, a few steps from the major tourist sites of the region. The Clos vineyard comprises some twenty hectares in one single block, planted with Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and Roussanne grapes.
