Dashwood Marlborough Pinot Noir 2025
"Sweetly ripe and elegantly fragrant with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, floral, and subtle spices. It's juicy and smooth in the mouth, displaying youthful fruit flavours, a supple texture, and fine tannins. Well-balanced and silky to the finish. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2026
Bright aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry, and plum are layered with subtle spice and savoury undertones. Juicy red fruits burst across the palate on the first sip, flowing into a smooth, supple, and silky texture. The finish is poised and elegant, with fine tannins and lingering hints of spice.
Dashwood embraces the natural beauty of the coastlines and unique flora and fauna that are synonymous with New Zealand. Taking inspiration from the native Pohutukawa that flowers in summertime along New Zealand’s coastlines, our wines embody the care and respect we have for our precious environment.
Grapes were harvested from Marlborough’s two winegrowing valleys, the Wairau Valley, and the Awatere Valley at full ripeness. Once received at the winery, they are destemmed to stainless steel tanks for an extended cold soak to allow gentle extraction. Following fermentation, the wines were gently pressed off skins and put into French oak barrels for 11 months prior to blending & bottling.
Food Pairing: A versatile, easy-drinking wine that pairs beautifully with pizza, pasta, and BBQ dishes.
