Delta Marlborough Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc 2025
"It's delightfully aromatic on the nose with green apple, feijoa, lime peel, and herbaceous aromas. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity, a fleshy texture, and well-pitched acidity, making it fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2026

A pale green colour in the glass. Aromas of vibrant grapefruit, lime and tropical fruits. A lively palate showing layers of tropical passionfruit and citrus. Fine suggestions of minerality and racy acidity leads to a crisp and clean finish.
The Sauvignon Blanc fruit was harvested from Delta vineyard sites around the Marlborough region. These vineyards experienced long hot summer days, contributing to weighty, quality fruit.
The 2025 vintage was superb, thanks to Marlborough's sunniest summer on record in 2024. The warm, dry conditions supported high quality fruit and delivered intensely vibrant flavours.
Ripening steadily throughout the growing period, the fruit was continually monitored by Heather until a balance of flavour, acidity and physiological ripeness was reached.
During a cool evening, the vineyard was machine harvested and the grapes were quickly transported to the winery where they were destemmed and pressed.
After settling, the juice was fermented at cool temperatures and racked off lees quickly to retain the vibrant fruit flavours and freshness of this Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. After final blending, the was was then gently carbonated and bottled.
Food Pairing: An ideal match on it's own or with fresh shellfish.
