An elegant Chardonnay with aromas of tropical fruit, nougat and roasted cashew nuts. A full bodied style, displaying ripe rockmelon and nectarine with layers of citrus and caramel and a long layered finish. Fruit driven with a hint of underlying oak.
Harvested from some of the highest performing vineyards across the Marlborough region. Perfect for drinking immediately this Chardonnay will be at its best over the next two to three years.
The Edwin Fox is a Historic East Indiaman Style Ship built in Bengal in 1853. She is the 9th oldest ship afloat in the world today and the last surviving wooden immigrant ship to New Zealand. She now resides on the Picton foreshore at the gateway to the picturesque Marlborough Sounds.
Food Pairing: An easy drinking wine that will compliment a creamy wild mushroom risotto.
