Ferraton Vin de France La Tournee Rhone Grenache Syrah 2021 (France)
Red, dense and clear colour with deep purple glints. The nose is powerful, complex and spicy with red berry notes. The palate is a powerful, structured attack with a tinge of silky tannins with red fruit aromas.
Syrah and Grenache varieties were grown in clay and calcerous hillsides in Herault and Gard areas in the south of France.
The grape varieties were vinified separately in stainless steel or concrete vats. Fermentation was followed by a short maceration of roughly 10 days at low controlled temperatures to favour fresh fruit aromas. Gentle extraction by pumping over. The two grapes varieties were blended and aged on fine lees in neutral content to bring complexity to the wine.
