The Fire Road Chardonnay has an expressive nose with characters of ripe white peach with a hint of lemon zest. Beautifully balanced with a soft round palate of rockmelon and flavours of refreshing stone fruit which lead to a smooth creamy finish. Drinking beautifully now, and will continue to develop over the next few years.
The grapes from a number of quality vineyard sites throughout Marlborough were harvested at optimum ripeness to produce this rich, fresh fruit driven Chardonnay.
Food Pairing: Matched beautifully with Baked Dijon salmon.
