Giesen Estate Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2024

A classic style of Chardonnay with stacks of luscious nectarine and citrus. Fresh and vibrant with a luscious texture, and smooth cedar oak finish. A fresh and vibrant Chardonnay with beautiful ripe peach and nectarine flavours, a luscious texture with a spicy cedar finish.

Fruit for our Chardonnay comes from throughout the Hawke’s Bay wine region on the East Coast of the North Island which is known for producing exceptional Chardonnay wines.

Selecting premium parcels of Chardonnay fruit, once harvested we make the wine in Hawke’s Bay to ensure we don’t compromise on the quality of the fruit by transporting it down to our winery in Marlborough.

Following harvest the fruit was pressed, cold settled and racked to stainless steel tank.

The wine then spends three months on yeast lees to create palate weight and smooth texture prior to blending and bottling. The wine then spends six months on yeast lees to integrate its oak and add creaminess and complexity to the palate.
