Governors Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023 (Export Wine)

Governors Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023 (Export Wine)

"Attractively ripe and fragrant, showing crunchy apple, capsicum, fig and herbaceous aromas on the nose. The palate delivers bright fruit flavours with juicy acidity, finishing lively and zesty" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2024

This wine has vibrant aromas of ripe gooseberries and tropical fruits. The balanced flavours of gooseberries and herbal notes are tasted on the palate. This blend has a lovely clean, refreshing finish.

Grapes for this wine were grown in vineyards situated throughout the great white wine growing region of Marlborough. An export certified spray programme was adhered to. Irrigation, if required, was by trickle system. Vineyards are operated under the Sustainable Winegrowing accreditation (SWNZ).

Fermentation was temperature controlled, to a maximum of 14°C, in stainless steel tanks. The controlled fermentation is used to maximise primary fruit aroma and flavour. After completion of fermentation, we selected various parcels to make the final blend.

Food Pairing: Served chilled, this wine is an ideal accompaniment to seafood, poultry and salads.
