Tropical fruit nose with hints of melon, fig and passionfruit, underscored with subtle butterscotch from the malolactic. Intense ripe fruit palate, with peach and melon characters. Full bodied with great mouth feel and and a  cleansing citrus note to finish, this is creamy and textural. Ideal as an aperitif on its own, but will carry nicely with seafood and white meats.

A single vineyard source from Paul Tietjens renown vineyard with 20 year old Mendoza clone Chardonnay.

When the grapes reached the prescribed flavour profile they were machine harvested without additions in the field to allow the tannins to oxidise. On arrival the grapes were pressed off immediately and settled. Once clear the juice was inoculated with a pure yeast strain and cool fermented to dryness. When dry the wine underwent a full malolactic fermentation to add complexity and mouth feel. The wine was stabilised and filtered.
