A vibrant Merlot with dark plum, blueberry, toasted almond and spice notes. Delicious paired with a rich tomato based pasta or any chocolate based dessert.
Deep, rich purple colour in the glass, aromas of dark plum, blueberry, violets and a hint of spice. The palate is juicy and rich, this wine delivers juicy fruit flavours along with a supple mouthfeel, finishing smooth and lingering.
Grown in the elevated terraces along the Ngaruroro river in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. A fantastic growing season with warm and dry summer ensured that the grapes had stunning flavour development and were harvested at peak ripeness. Made with 100% Merlot grapes, the wine was fermented in a mixture of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks and 50% aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
Food Pairing: Perfect with rich tomato based pasta and any kind of chocolate dessert.
