Il Meridione Grillo Sicilia DOC 2023 (Italy)
Fresh and appealing Sicilian white from the indigenous Grillo grape. A honeyed, floral and spicy nose with hints of ginger and stone fruit. Ripe, sun-dried citrus characters on the palate with savoury notes and a creamy texture. Fresh balancing acidity on the lightly nutty finish.

Grapes were sourced from vineyards in the coastal area of the western tip of Sicily - in Petrosino, Trapani and Marzara del Vallo areas. Vines are cultivated in chalky soils with sandy patches, and are of average age 20–25 years. Harvesting takes place late August / early September. After temperature controlled fermentation for 30 days, the wine is filtered and bottled.
Food Pairing: White fish, grilled octopus, or a chicken Caesar salad.
