This deliciously vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, in an off- dry style, offers intense passionfruit and gooseberry accompanied with attractive lime, grapefruit, and lychee notes.
The grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were grown in the highly acclaimed Awatere Valley region of Marlborough.
With a lead in of an extended summer dry period, March provided the ultimate growing conditions with warm days and cool nights, enabling the fruit to have enhanced flavours while retaining acid. 2021 produced clean, healthy, flavoursome fruit. The fruit for this wine was harvested on 5th April 2022 in immaculate condition and balance.
Fermentation was initiated with specially selected Sauvignon Blanc yeast and proceeded in a slow controlled manner to preserve both the varietal fruitiness and its aromatic intensity. With balanced sweetness and acidity, this Vegan friendly wine was lightly fined and filtered, prior to bottling on 21st July 2022.
Food Pairing: Immensely enjoyable on its own, it also matches beautifully with a Pasta Primavera or Goat cheese.
