The grapes that went into this wine were sourced from their Seventeen Valley vineyard in the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. This is one of our warmest vineyard sites and along with super low yields, produces the ripeness levels required for Syrah.
Grapes were cold soaked, fermented in small parcels and aged for eleven months in French oak barriques.
Food Pairing: Great with red or gamey meats and pasta.
