Bright cherry red in colour. Aromas from the aging (vanilla, cocoa, coffee) combined with red fruit notes and liquorice. Broad and elegant, with soft tannins. Overall tasty and clean, very pleasant.

100% Tempranillo grown in Elciego on 25 year old south-facing vines grown in chalky-clay soil.

Grapes were fermented for 15 days in stainless steel tanks with daily pumping over. Wine was aged for 12 months in oak barrels (60% American and 40% French) plus 12 months in the bottle.

Food Pairig: Cold meats, pasta dishes, cheese, roast lamb or burgers.
