Mystery Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (06)
- Dry style
- Kaffir lime
- Passionfruit
- Lingering finish
Bright fragrances of green capsicum and kaffir lime leaf, combined with notes of fresh cut grass. The palate exhibits Intense blackcurrant flavours with generous layers of tropical passionfruit and rich herbaceous. There is a long, lingering finish of minerality and salty oyster shell characters. This wine is made to be enjoyed immediately after release and will maintain its freshness for two to three years following.
A single vineyard Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, grown in the Lower Wairau region of Blenheim. Rows are planted north-east to south-west to create a multi-dimensional palate of both green and riper flavored grapes. The fruit was monitored throughout the Marlborough growing season and machine harvested at peak flavour maturity. In the winery, the fruit was immediately pressed and fermented in cool controlled stainless-steel tanks, ensuring the wine retains its distinct fruit flavours and freshness. The wine then underwent its final blending before being prepared and sent off for bottling.
Food Pairing: A refreshing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, to be enjoyed on its own or paired with any freshly caught white fish.
