Mystery Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (04)
Black Market Mystery Wines™ are simply wines we love, with the branding hidden and revealed only when it arrives at your door!
"It's splendidly fruited and fragrant on the nose with grapefruit, crunchy apple, rockmelon, and lemon zest aromas. The palate displays juicy fruit intensity, fine texture, and bright acidity, finishing flavoursome and tasty. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"Ripe and fruity, tropical fruits, lemon and grapefruit, gooseberry and freshly harvested sage leaves. Vibrant, youthful and engaging. Flavours of passionfruit and green mango, cape gooseberry and citrus peel. A decent acid line carrying fruit, bell-pepper and herb flavours. Ready to drink expression from day of purchase through 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Bright aromatics with subtle layers of nectarine and red currant. Distinctive yellow plum on palate backed up by elements citrus. The wine is dry, with a mouth-watering line of fine acid and mouth filling length. Easy to drink on its own or to match with food.
Wine making is all about preserving each site's individual identity, so it's kept simple. Juices from each vineyard are kept separate and fermented with appropriate yeast in stainless steel tanks. Individual wines are then blended according to our idea of a complementary whole.
Food Pairing: Versatile on the table; try green lipped mussels or other shellfish, Caesar salad and pesto based dishes.
