"Bright, even, light straw-yellow colour. The nose is gently-full with aromas of ripe stonefruit, tropical passionfruit, fresh green herbs and subtle spices. Dry to taste, this is soft and rounded in expression, voluminous aromas of passionfruit, stonefruit and citrus, uplifted by delicate green herbs and spices. The palate is round with gentle, but mouthwatering acid flows with good energy and intensity. The fruit is clean and pure with concentration; there are savoury tone and citrus zest on the finish added interest. This is an elegantly soft and rounded Sauvignon Blanc with good concentration of ripe fruit and mouthwatering acid on a gently rounded palate. This organic Sauvignon Blanc has delicate blackcurrant and passionfruit flavours mixed with hints of feijoa and lime. A lovely balanced, crisp acidity with a nice naturally sweet finish makes this wine enjoyably refreshing to drink.
The original plants for Natural Wine Co. came to New Zealand in the 1980’s, and all Natural Wine Company vines are planted on their own roots and certified organic.
This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, cool fermented and spent minimal time on yeast lees to ensure a clean fresh style.
