Northrow Marlborough Pinot Noir 2024

Northrow Marlborough Pinot Noir 2024

The Pinot Noir grapes for this wine are sourced from select vineyards throughout Marlborough. Once harvested, the grapes are “cold soaked” for a period of time before fermentation. The tanks are plunged or pumped over daily to assist with colour and tannin extraction. The finished ferments are gently pressed off skins and left to mature for 9-10 months. The individual parcels are then blended, fined and filtered, ready to bottle. The resulting wine has aromas of sweet cherry and wild berries intermingle with subtle spice and wild herb. Soft tannin and bright acidity lead to a long flavorsome finish.

Northrow takes its name from the northernmost row of vines in a vineyard, which is the first to greet the morning light and enjoys the most sunshine throughout the day. Northrow wines capture this special ‘sun-meets-grapevine’ magic, highlighting the bright, vibrant flavours that come from these long, sunny days. Whether you’re gazing at the sunset or a enjoying a meal with friends, Northrow wines bring a touch of delight.

Food Pairing: Roast lamb, grilled vegetable salad.
