Medium to deep red in colour, aromas of blue berries with gingerbread spice notes. On the palate this wine is expressive to the variety with attractive red fruit flavours and a juicy acidity. Drink now through to 2028+.
A challenging spring preceded an extremely long, warm summer with January recording 3.5° C above average temperatures. February through to march was dryer than normal leading to optimal picking conditions from early March to late April. A favorable vintage has been well rewarded.
Harvested at the end of March from our Watercourse block. Fermentation in closed stainless steel tank with regular pumping over and post fermentation maceration for approximately 2 weeks.
