2014 was an outstanding vintage in Hawke’s Bay with warm days and cool nights through out the growing season, fantastic conditions for producing flavoursome grapes. The main component of this wine was sourced from our inland Kereru Road vineyard at Mangatahi, which consistently produces ripe fruit with small intensely flavoured berries. Smaller parcels from vineyards in Crowthorpe, Korokipo, Omahu and Clive gave fleshiness and flavour diversity.
