Deep plum-red in colour, this Zinfandel with a twist is bursting with dark damson, blackcurrant, and raspberry notes. This is complemented by a twist of peppery spice and finishes with just a hint of toasty oak.
The latest addition to the Rib Tickler range. Wines made for food, they are big, bold, and rich. This Zinfandel is a slightly different spin on the Californian classic.
This blend is sourced from selected vineyards throughout California’s Central Valley.
Predominantly old-vine Zinfandel (85%), giving sweet red fruits and juicy palate. We also blend a small component of Petit Sirah (7.5%), for structure and to give rich darker fruit notes, along with Teroldego (7.5%), which gives a floral lift and spicy notes. 30% of the has spent 6 months on French Oak, to give sweet spice and toasty notes.
Food Pairing: Smooth but firm tannins make this perfect to take your time over and savour over slow cooked BBQ beef brisket or pulled jackfruit tacos.
