Santa Ana Reserve Malbec 2017 (Argentina)
Santa Ana Malbec Reserve has an intense red colour with elegant hints of violet. Sweet aromas of blackberries and plums, well combined with a subtle vanilla touch. Good structure and velvety texture, with soft tannins and long aftertaste.
With over 120 years experience in the wine industry, this winery was one of the first to be founded in Argentina. All along, innovation has been our determinant attribute, as well as a key element to positioning themselves before the ever shifting consumer preferences. Technology and state-of-the-art winemaking techniques are driving forces for the company at present and signal their future. Their history speaks of who they are today and why their wines get increasingly selected in the domestic and foreign markets.
The fruit was hand harvested in plastic bins undergoing destemming and crushing. Fermentation and maceration with selected yeast and natural malolactic fermentation.
The wine is 9-12 months aged in French and American oak barrels (50% of the wine).
Food Pairing: Ideal with turkey, pastas, and for barbecue or stews.
