Made 100% from the indigenous Italian grape Corvina Veronese, sourced from the Veneto region where the soils are clay and calcareous. These grapes saw careful vineyard-selection before being gently pressed. This pressing was followed by a skin maceration at low temperature for 8-10 days. The wine then underwent a unique 'secondary fermentation' on Amarone pomace to impart the aromas and flavours of Amarone’s dried fruit. The wine was then aged for 18 to 24 months in medium and large size oak casks and then refined for at least 6 months in the bottle prior to release.
