Sensi 18K Prosecco Rosé NV (Italy)
- Off-dry style
- Raspberries
- White flowers
- Balanced acidity
It has a bright, vibrant petal pink color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is fresh, pleasant and fragrant, enriched with pungent notes of white flowers and berries such as blackberries, raspberries and strawberries; the taste is delicate on the palate and presents a perfect balance between fruity and acidic components.
A blend of 85% Gera and 10-15% Pinot Noir grapes grown in Veneto. Land extending from the Treviso plain to the Valdobbiadene hills. Deep, fertile soil on the flatter part. The lowland area has an alluvial, clayey and silty soil with sandy schists, while in the hilly part the soil is marl, well structured, with clayey schists and presence of skeleton, well endowed with organic substance with neutral alkaline pH.
The grapes are harvested taking care to preserve the integrity of the berries and limit the formation of must. The vinification of the base wine is carried out trying to preserve the acidity and aroma of the grapes as much as possible. The de-stemmed bunches are pressed, the must after cold decantation proceeds to alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature with selected aromatic yeasts. After fermentation and subsequent decanting, the blend is made. The blend is aged on the fine lees, after which the second fermentation is carried out in an autoclave
Food Pairing: Extremely versatile, this wine is perfect in any convivial situation. Excellent as an aperitif, the Prosecco Rosé Brut version is particularly suitable with appetizers, raw fish and steamed seafood. Unforgettable when paired with chocolate cakes and apple pies.
