Stony Bank Marlborough Pinot Noir 2022
"Charming and elegantly complex, the bouquet shows sweet strawberry, red cherry, game, mushroom and dried flower aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate displaying juicy fruit flavours with fine texture and delicate tannins, finishing lingering and silky. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2023
An elegant, soft and rounded wine with aromas of strawberries, red cherries and a touch of oak. Red fruits coming through on the palate, delicate spice, clove and nutmeg with nice savoury oak and a lingering moreish finish.
100% grown in the famous Wairau Valley, in ancient riverbed stones and gravels the vines struggle to survive, producing only a handful of deeply coloured, intensely flavoured grapes with soft tannins.
