The Prisoner Chardonnay 2021 (California)

The Prisoner Chardonnay 2021 (California)

Notes of apricot and yellow peach are accented by toasted marshmallow, dried pineapple, vanilla, and lemon zest. On the palate, lemon zest and peach cobbler are balanced with a bright acidity. Golden delicious apple, marzipan, and toasted coconut linger on the finish.

From the most recognized Napa Valley red blend comes a distinct wine. Made in the same iconic style as The Prisoner Red Blend, we proudly introduce The Prisoner Chardonnay. Redefining taste once again.

Our winemaking team works with a family of growers to source a diverse variety of grapes from premier vineyards throughout California. The resulting wines are interesting blends of distinct quality and character.

Our hand-picked grapes are pressed immediately to separate the juice from the skins and seeds. Once the juice has settled overnight, it’s inoculated with yeast and moved to barrels to ferment. After the primary period of fermentation, the barrels are stirred every other week to perfect the wine’s balance and acidity.
