Thornbury Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Thornbury Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021

  • Dry style
  • Passionfruit
  • Blackcurrant
  • Mouth-filling

Packed with vibrant tropical fruits such as passionfruit and melon alongside fresh blackcurrant and herb flavours. A crisp, mouth-filling and delicious wine with a satisfying length of flavour.

Blessed with abundant sunshine and free draining soil, the Marlborough wine growing district is world-renowned. Thornbury's vineyards are located in the Wairau and Awatere Valley's, producing Sauvignon Blanc that is vibrant and fresh.

The two largest sub-regions in New Zealand - Marlborough's Wairau and Awatere Valleys sit side by side and produce the world's most distinctive Sauvignon Blanc. However in 2021 100% of the blend comes from the Wairau Valley, which provides richness and weight along with mouthwatering acidity.

Fermented cool in stainless steel tanks using aromatic yeasts. The wine spent time on its yeast lees to build extra texture and weight to palate.

Food Pairing: As an aperitif or with fresh seafood, such as Marlborough Green-lipped mussels or Pacific Oysters.
