"Packed with vibrant and intense flavours of lime and lemongrass alongside blackcurrant fruit and freshly cut herbs. A crisp, mouth-filling and delicious wine with a satisfying length of flavour" Winemaker

Blessed with abundant sunshine and free draining soil, the Marlborough wine growing district is world-renowned. Thornbury's vineyards are located in the Wairau and Awatere Valley's, producing Sauvignon Blanc that is vibrant and fresh.

The two largest sub-regions in New Zealand - Marlborough's Wairau and Awatere Valleys sit side by side and produce the world's most distinctive Sauvignon Blanc. In 2022 100% of this wine was sourced from the rugged, cool and windy Awatere Valley, showcasing pungent green fruit intensity with mouthwatering acidity.

Fermented cool in stainless steel tanks using aromatic yeasts. The wine spent time on its yeast lees to build extra texture and weight to palate.

Food Pairing: As an aperitif or with fresh seafood, such as Marlborough Green-lipped mussels or Pacific Oysters.
