This light, vibrant wine is reminiscent of Summer with aromas of fresh lemons, limes and crunchy snow peas. The juicy palate is balanced with flavours of passionfruit, melon and grapefruit, with hints of freshly cut herbs and lemongrass on the finish.
The Marlborough growing season started off well with very little frost pressure during spring. Flowering went without a hitch, and due to healthy soil moisture levels the canopies looked lushand vibrant. The start of 2023 Summer was mild and unseasonbly humid and wet. In February the weather settled and presented us sunny and warm Autumn condition that provided excellent conditions for our fruit.
Cool, controlled fermentation with select yeast strains enhances and protect vibrant aromatics. This wine is bottled in it's youth to capture freshness.
