Bisquit VSOP Cognac (750ml)
"Glowing deep amber. Rich lifted aromatics, marmalade, fudge, cashew and smoky spice. Complex evolution in the mouth, plump and mellow, a Cognac with considerable finesse." International Wine & Spirit Compettion, 2012
"Rich, full nose brimming with marmalade, candied orange and lots of raisins. Beautifully mature notes. Lively, almost nervy, action in the mouth reveals loads of flavours along the line of the nose. A wonderful creamy flow develops with time in the mouth showing very satisfying mature and mellow characters. Elegance personified." International Wine & Spirit Compettion, 2009
A warm amber colour with a bouquet is expressed around a core of ripe fruits aromas such as dry apricot. Sweet honey notes and spice aromas of cinnamon and clove are also to be found on the nose, which are underlined with floral nuances of rose petals. The palate is packed with more of the ripe fruit aromas already expressed on the nose and supple notes of honeysuckle, citrus and mango delight the palate. On the nose and in the palate, the VSOP bouquet is expressed around a core of full, ripe fruit. The Bisquit VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) is smooth and mellow in character with an everlasting finish. Beautifully balanced, generous and full in the mouth, this superb Cognac is best served neat.
The House of Bisquit Cognacs was founded in 1819 in the heart of France, from the spirit of one man: Alexandre Bisquit. While discovering the world to promote his Cognacs, he understood the importance to give things time and to cultivate privileged moments. This was the life philosophy he decided to implement for the elaboration of his Cognacs.
This VSOP Fine Champagne from Bisquit is a middle-old Cognac, distilled in the Fins Bois area, close to the town of Rouilliac. The Cognac was aged in oak casks.
