Bodega Tamari Mendoza Pinot Grigio 2016 (Argentina)

Bodega Tamari Mendoza Pinot Grigio 2016 (Argentina)

"This is beautifully fruited and inviting on the nose showing ripe peach, rockmelon, fig and poached pear characters with a hint of spice. The palate is fleshy and juicy with lovely fruit intensity backed by refreshing acidity, finishing long and very appealing" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2019

"Here’s a lean, minerally Pinot Grigio with a hint of salinity, dried pear and nashi notes.  There’s a creaminess on the finish which mellows out some of the heat of the alcohol and allows some fruit notes to sneak through.  Good value Grigio" Yvonne Lorkin, Apr 2018

Yellow with steel tones in the glass. Aromas of roasted yellow apples with the typical floral contribution of the Uco Valley. It is a fresh, fruity and crispy wine, with nice clean and fresh finish.

The Bodega Tamari Pinot Gris is tremendously crisp, with a huge amount of apple flavours. If you transmute all the sugar from apple juice into alcohol, I imagine that’s exactly how it would taste. For the price, it is actually quite a refreshing, clean and tasty wine.

Food Pairing: Ideal to accompany ceviche.
