The Devil Tawny is predominately a blend of Shiraz and Grenache with a small amount of aromatic Muscat blended in for perfume and complexity. The averageageof the resultant blendis20+ years old, culminating in layers of concentrated flavours and textures with additional nuances of nutty barrel ageing characteristics. The Devil is deliciously rich and ethereal. The nose is brimming with roasted almonds and marzipan characters. The palate has the typical rancio characters evident from prolonged oak maturation and issupported by luscious flavours ofboiled fruit cake and aged spices. The finish is luscious and lingering.

All of the grapes and wines are handled gently in small batches to ensure that the wonderful site and varietal characters are nurtured and respected.
