Chateau Roquefort Le Bonvivant Côtes de Provence Rosé 2020 (France)
- Dry style
- Fresh
- Juicy
- Easy-to-drink
Clear and shiny pink in colour. Energetic nose and juicy palate with lots of freshness. A very easy to drink Rosé.
This Rosé is a blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan varietals grown in Côtes de Provence.
Harvets started on September 14th going through until October 9th. The Summer was quite dry, but thankfully their altitude and exposure (north/north-west) allowed them to keep a lot of freshness in the wine. The different grape varieties developed a very homogenous maturity and allowed a perfect balance in pH, totaly acidity and alcohol.
Grapes were destemmed and pressed with cold maceration and natural fermentation occuring (18-23ºC). Wine was matured in cement vats.
