Delta Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2025
"t's delicately lifted on the nose with aromas of raspberry, nectarine, red apple, and lemon zest, leading to a lively palate that's light and refreshing. Elegantly styled and immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2025

"Aromas and flavours of fresh cherry and raspberry, there’s light mineral wet stone quality and floral highlight. Crisp and just dry with plenty of acidity and bite leading to more flavours of fruit then a leesy texture and fine chalky fruit tannins. Balanced and well made, ready for a NZ summer late 2025 through January 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Pale rose gold. Refined bouquet of ripe strawberries and delicate florals. Crisp red fruit flavours complimented by a silky structure and beautiful length. Delicate floral notes impart an elegant finish to the palate.
The Pinot Noir grapes used to make this elegant Rosé were selected from select vineyards around the Marlborough region. The 2025 vintage was superb, thanks to Marlborough's sunniest summer on record in 2024. The warm, dry, conditions supported superb fruit quality and delivered insensly vibrant flavours. Ripening steadily throughout the growing period, the fruit was continually monitored until a balance of flavour, acidity and physiological ripeness was reached.
The fruit for this wine was machine harvested during a cool evening when the grapes reached peak flavour maturity. At the winery, each parcel of fruit was carefully pressed to extract delicate blush hues and fermented in cool stainless steel tanks to retain the fresh fruit characteristics. After light maceration and fermentation, Heather selected her favourite batches prior to blending. The wine was then lightly fined and prepared for bottling.
Food Pairing: The 2025 Delta Rosé has a silky, dry palate full of rich berry flavours and hints of citrus blossom. An ideal match with light salads, or for sipping in the sunshine with friends and family.
