This expressive Pinot Gris has been crafted using select fruit from the Marlborough region, chosen for its exceptional quality and fruit forward characteristics. Harvested in mid-March, the grapes for this wine were quickly pressed from their pink-ish skins and fermented independently in cool stainless-steel tanks. Our winemakers aimed to showcase the best of Marlborough when choosing their final blend before preparing the wine for bottling.
Named after an extraordinary ship that resides on the Picton foreshore in the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. Built in Bengal 1853, visiting this historic East Indianman ship is a breathtaking experience, and our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is no different.
