Edwin Fox Reserve Marlborough Rosé 2025
"Bright, even, pale blush pink. The nose is intensely fragrant, with aromas of rose, peony, strawberry, and cherry. Medium-light bodied, aromas of strawberry and red cherry melded with rose and peony. The fruit is succulent, supported by tangy acidity. A touch of sweetness adds weight to the mid palate, along with a smooth mouthfeel, lending a mouth-watering, dry finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews

"An elegant beginning with a bouquet of roses then red berry fruit. Crisp and dry with a core of red cherry and apple then lees and tropical red tea. A juicy and salivating wine with a touch of salinity and developing flavours of red apple skin and pear. Well made with best drinking from 2025 through 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
In the glass, it shows a beautiful blush-pink colour. The palate is bright and clean, layered with flavours of blackcurrant and ruby grapefruit, carried by a focused balance and a long, refreshing finish.
Crafted from a blend of Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc, this Rosé draws its fruit from carefully selected vineyard sites in the lower Wairau Valley, chosen for their ability to deliver exceptional flavour intensity.
The delicate, dusty-pink hue was achieved by allowing the grapes just a few hours of skin contact before being gently pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the wine’s vibrant fruit character and freshness.
Food Pairing: Best enjoyed young, this Rosé is perfect as an aperitif or paired with an antipasto platter, and will continue to drink well over the next two years.
