Lifted notes of rockmelon and orange blossom with a hint of vanilla. The palate is juicy and mouth filling with delicious notes of spiced poached pear, apple and warm cinnamon. The wine is beautifully textured and expressive showing excellent weight and length. Harmonious, approachable and definitely worth a second glass (or bottle!).
The grapes for this wine were grown in premium vineyards in the Wairau Valley and southern Valley subregions in Marlborough.
Food Pairing: Well matched with grilled chicken skewers with cherry tomatoes & green bell peppers.
