Lifted notes of ripe pear and orange blossom with a hint of lemon peel. The palate is juicy and mouth filling with delicious notes of watermelon, apple and fig. The wine is beautifully textured and expressive showing excellent weight and length. Harmonious, approachable and definitely worth a second glass (or bottle!).
The grapes for this wine were grown in premium vineyards in the Wairau Valley and southern Valley subregions in Marlborough.
Food Pairing: Well matched with buttery garlic steamed clams.
