- American & French oak
- Dark plum & ripe cherry
- Subtle spice & toasted almonds
- Smooth & silky tannins
"Attractively fruited and nicely lifted, showing dark plum, ripe cherry, subtle spice and toasted almond characters on the nose. It's succulent and beautifully rounded on the palate with smooth mouthfeel and silky tannins, offering friendly drinking" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2020
Bright crimson with ruby hues in the glass. Generous layers of black cherry and plum combining with notes of liquorice and spice. A silky rich and ripe mouthfeel with a touch of peppery spice and soft lingering tannins. Dry/ medium-bodied.
Produced from vineyards chosen for their ability to produce great colour and body as well as lifted fruit-forward wines. The grapes were fermented on skins for 7-10 days before maturing over the next 8 months with a blend of American and French Oak.
Food Pairing: An all-round wine that will partner well with most occasions, but give it a go with BBQ, pasta, pizza or anything slow-cooked.
