Lake Chalice The Falcon Marlborough Riesling 2025

Lake Chalice The Falcon Marlborough Riesling 2025

"It's elegantly fragrant on the nose, showcasing lemon sorbet, Gala apple, and white floral aromas, leading to a finely expressed palate that offers subtle sweetness and well-balanced acidity, making it refreshing and tasty" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2025

Scale_-_Med-dry

"Precise, crisp, just dry on the finish and packed with flavours of green apple and lemon, there’s a light lime and white rose quality. A crisp wine with a backbone of acidity salivating and contrasting the residual sweetness as the wine touches the palate. The medium alcohol and ripeness of fruit coat the palate with a freshness and fruit led drive, easy complexity and seamless finish. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2031+. Serve chilled, not cold and will deliver on plushness and food pairing opportunities" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Feb 2026

Pale straw with green hues. Lifted aromas of violet, lime zest, sweet citrus and mineral wet stone. Ripe citrus and lime burst on the palate, balanced by a satiny texture. Bright mineral characters lead to a refreshing finish. Enjoy now and over the next 3 years. If it makes it past the time it takes to chill we’d be impressed.

The fruit for this wine is solely from the Blind River area in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough.

Pressed immediately following harvest to minimise skin contact and retain freshness, then warm fermented to maintain rich aromatics.
