The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is showcases the characteristics that have made Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc famous the world over. It is clearly fruity and herbaceous and wonderfully fresh with a hint of spice. The palate is richer than most as the fruit was very ripe, so it is a full-bodied version which has enormous drinkability!
Food Pairing: A very versatile wine that would pair very well with seafood or something with a bit of a salty tang (capers….) but it’s also perfectly comfortable if you decide just to drink it on its own, or on your own… you decide.

2 x Man O' War Estate Waiheke Pinot Gris 2022
The Estate Pinot Gris is an ‘off dry’ style of wine meaning it contains natural residual sugar left from the chilling of the ferment. The sugar is balanced by the acidity of the wine and the fruit tannins which provide a long drying finish. Another feature is the natural carbon dioxide or ‘spritz’ which is produced during fermentation and captured in the wine during the chilling process. All up the wine is incredibly flavoursome with characters of apple, citrus and spices of ginger cardamon and cinnamon. The palate has a lot of flavour packed in and despite the residual sugar it is fresh light and extremely drinkable. Made in a medium-dry style, on the sweeter side!

The palate is fresh and juicy with lashings of flavour with a real brightness of acid and an energetic tannin finish. Young wine for young people, or the young at heart.
