With delicious aromas of fresh raspberries and grapefruit, the palate displays flavours of ripe red summer pears and subtle nuances of spice. Perfectly balanced with fine acidity and great persistence.
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec, these grapes were sourced from some of Marlborough’s finest vineyard sites where the grapes enjoy ideal growing conditions, warm days, cool nights and low rainfall.
Grapes were machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. They then spent just a few hours on skins to extract the delicate amount of light strawberry colour seen in the bottle, then carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.
Food Pairing: Ideal served chilled as an aperitif on a summer’s afternoon.
