Mount Olympus Marlborough Pinot Gris 2022
- Dry style
- Honeysuckle
- Spiced pear
- Lingering finish
"Delightfully charming and likable, the bouquet shows apricot, green rockmelon, fresh pear and lemon peel characters on the nose. The palate is equally appealing with succulent fruit flavours together with supple texture and a lingering juicy finish. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2022
A beautifully rounded Pinot Gris, the fragrant bouquet shows ripe green pear, honeysuckle blossom and a subtle hint of spice. This wine is bursting with pristine flavours of Nashi pear and lucious white nectarine with a hint of cinnamon leading to a lingering succulent finish.
Sourced from a selection of top producing vineyards in Marlborough, with grapes harvested at optimum ripeness. The grapes were transported to the winery and fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel tanks to ensure the fresh fruit flavours were preserved. Pleasing to the palate now and will also remain in its prime for the next 3-4 years.
Food Pairing: Perfect with seafood dishes like tiger prawns with tomato and basil sauce.
