Mount Olympus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Rosé 2021

Mount Olympus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Rosé 2021

  • Dry style
  • Strawberry
  • Nectarine
  • Crisp acidity

"It's attractively fruited and inviting on the nose showing raspberry, apricot, lemon zest and subtle spice aromas, followed by an elegantly flavoursome palate offering vibrant fruit flavours with crisp acidity, finishing lingering and tasty" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2023

Baby pink in colour this Rosé is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec grape varieties sourced from selected vineyard sites capable of reaching optimum flavour intensity.
With delicious aromas of sweet strawberries and nectarine. The palate displays flavours of sun kissed peaches and fresh raspberries with subtle nuances of dried herbs. A delicious dry Rosé with crisp acidity and a full mouth feel.

The fruit was machine harvested  in the cool of the evening when the fruit was at peak maturity. The grapes spent only a few hours on skins to extract the delicate colour then carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.

Food Pairing: Ideal chilled on a hot summer’s day with smoked salmon canapes.
