Mud House South Australia Shiraz 2022 (Australia)

Mud House South Australia Shiraz 2022 (Australia)

"This comforting shiraz shows lifted aromas of dark berry, thyme, clove and toasted nut aromas, leading to a fruit-expressive palate that's juicy and rounded. Approachable and smooth for everyday drinking. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2023

"Bright appearance with a core of dark red pigments through to the rim. Aromas and flavours mirror each other with  cherry compote and black currant, some licorice and moments of pepper then brown sugar. Just dry on the palate with moderate tannins and medium+ acid line. There’s some warmth from the alcohol and some medium tension to the tannins. Well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2026" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jun 2023

Deep plum. Heady aromas of ripe blueberry, dark cherry and blackcurrant combine with liquorice, chocolate, black pepper and dried herb notes. A rich, full bodied wine with bold cherry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate notes, layered with black pepper and warm, vanillin oak.

The Riverland region of South Australia has a climate that is well suited to grape growing. Warm summer days and plenty of sunshine contributes to the development of gorgeous ripe fruit flavours.

Food Pairing: Ribeye steak with mushroom sauce.
