Mystery North Island Arneis 2021
- Dry style
- Peach & lemon
- Subtle spice
- Medium-bodied
"Rich, weighty wine—shut your eyes and you would easily imagine that it is a red wine. It has the weight and mouth-feel and savoury flavours of a red, although the fresh acidity points to white. Good drinking and well-priced" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2022
"Pale lemon/green, it is a fresh, lively, medium-bodied wine, with very good depth of peachy, lemony, slightly spicy flavours and a dry, persistent finish. Enjoyable young" Michael Cooper
The Arneis grapes for this wine were handpicked from a pristine North Island vineyard. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under cool conditions with select yeasts to produce a pure, crisp, refreshing wine with fresh fruity perfume and lovely mineral texture.
Food Pairing: A great refreshment on its own but also with shellfish, antipasto and classic Mediterranean dishes.
